Nadia Cassini comes from Woodstock, NY and on the 2nd day of this year, she turned 61. At birth, she was named Gianna Lou Miller. She has a bit of German and Italian in her thanks to her parents. In search for better life and success in the entertainment industry, she left her parent’s nest and did various jobs like modeling and performing in night clubs. Before her career even took off, she got hitched to Igor Cassini and went to Europe.

This marriage didn’t last and she hooked up with Yorgo Voyagis, with whom she has a daughter. She appeared in 20 movies and TV shows mainly in Italian and did some French work as well. Her 1st appearance on camera was in The Divorce (’70). Next decade and a bit, saw her star in many movies revealing a bit of skin, though never fully naked. Every time a scene required more erotic action, she used a double. This publicity in Italy saw her appear in many magazines with Italian Playboy putting her on their cover pages 3 times.

Celebrity Sleuth as Italian Playboy also had her full spreads where she ended up showing up in her full glory. Altogether, she was featured on 13 cover pages in Italy, France, Belgium and West Germany. Her career in acting came to a halt when a plastic operation went wrong. She was a bit disfigured and though it’s not very obvious on her face, it prevented her from her further working.

This happened in mid eighties and she left her adopted country Italy to work next door in France, making one movie in ’83, which was also her last. Going back to her roots, Nadia Cassini went back to her homeland where she remains and lives. During the height of her career, she actually also released an album with poppy tunes.
